October 14, 1969, David Strikland was born David Gordon Strikland Jr in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York, USA. He was best known for his role as the boyish rock music reporter Todd Stites in the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan (starring Brooke Shields). He moved to Princeton, New Jersey, with his family and considered himself a native before moving to California.

It was as if the hand of fate stepped forward to take Paris Hilton down from her Hilton Throne. On September 7, 2007 Ms Hilton was driving her Mercedes Benz in an erratic weaving pattern down the city street. When stopped by the Police she stated that she had been on a late night run for hamburgers. It was clear that Hilton had been drinking and a sobriety test which was issued by the officer on the scene confirmed that the willful heiress had in deed been driving while intoxicated.
When the case went to court Ms Hilton plead no contest to the charge of reckless driving. She was fined $1,500 in fines, ordered to take a course on the dangers of driving while intoxicated, her Drivers License was suspended, and she was given 36 months of probation.
These imposed punishments are standard for anyone facing her charges," Stated one court official when asked about the ruling of the judge, "That would have been the end of the matter too if she had simply respected the ruling in the matter enough to have avoided driving until her license was returned to her.
During the following months she ended up getting stopped twice. Durring the first of the two times the officer discovered that Paris Hilton was continuing to drive on a suspended drivers license. It was due to the second time of being stopped, and the discoverey that she was still driving on a suspended license, that it landed her in court where she appeared before judge Michael T. Sauer.
